From 8am on Tuesday 8 August 2017, EEG will be jetting the drains and gutters on behalf of AMEY who look after drainage for Cheltenham Borough Council. Work will take two–three hours and involve cleaning any debris in the drains and then jetting water at high pressure through the system to completely flush it out. Should they find a broken or collapsed pipe in the system (this is not expected) they would recommend a repair or a CCTV survey. Residents and highway users will all benefit as it will reduce the risk of flooding to the highway and properties.
So that work can be carried out efficiency, please don’t park in Exmouth Street on Tuesday 8 August.
